How the Bible says its ok to smoke weed!

February 18, 2010

So, ive been doing a lot of reading about marijuana and the laws against it. I came upon a site that talks about how marijuana is mentioned and even encouraged in the Holy Bible! If  God wants us to smoke than we should smoke or we may go to hell for disobeying the Lord. There are many “mentions” of marijuana in the bible.

A part of the Bible from Ezekiel says, “And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen any more”. I dont know about you guys, but it sounds like hes talking about weed. He mentions not being consumed with hunger and one of weeds best qualities is enhancing one’s appetite. That is known as munchies, and with munchies all one does is EAT!

The part of the Bible from Isaiah says, “The Lord said unto me, ‘I will take my rest and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs”. Here is an example of another of a prophet talking about marijuana.

One of the more interesting things on the website talked about how cannabis was used in biblical times. It said, “Cannabis was used 12 ways: clothing, paper, cord, sails, fishnet, oil, sealant, incense, food, and in ceremony, relaxation and medicine. For so the Lord said unto me, “I will take my rest and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs. For afore harvest, when the bud is perfect and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks and take away and cut down the branches.” (Isaiah 18:4-5)

This turn of events that I have recently learned is a huge positive step for the fight to legalize! Now we have God on our side. Jesus said not to criticize other people for their habits! In conclusion, this is a positive leap for marijuana.

If you have a commment feel free to comment on this post. And remember the only drug problem is finding good drugs!
